Verizon announced today that they are doing away with their middle range 1 year contract and will only be providing a month to month and 2 year plan from now on.

If you are one of those people that likes to have the newest and the best you will find yourself waiting another year to upgrade your choice of Phone unless you are willing to pay full price.

Verizon says that most customers were choosing their 2 year plan which provides a better discount when purchasing a new phone and carrier plan.

However if you are an iPhone customer Verizon will continue offering its one year standard plan.
