Apple is pushing forward the idea of a cheaper and also less expensive version of its iPhone saying it will be half the size of a standard iPhone.

At the same time the rest of the world is trying to market their version of a tablet PC to provide a larger area for users.

I am probably not the best person to ask and I have never owned anything other then a standard phone that can text and make regular phone calls. I work all day infront of a desktop computer with a large LCD and when I am not working I have a desktop to surf and do whatever I need. I don’t feel the need to be online all the time through my phone because I am always online through a standard desktop and when i’m not then I am watching something on TV or Driving or Eating…

But I do understand that there are a lot of people that want to bring their home into work or school.. they are surfing and tweeting and watching videos or listening to music…

But are they asking for a smaller device to do all of this on? I have not been hearing this.

Anyway at half size it will be interesting if anyone goes for this new iPhone. I am sure some will but for me.. its just not going to happen.

The inputs will be too small to use reasonably and I already need glasses so a postage sized view of a newspaper site is not going to cut it.
