Oh Noooooes the interwebs is shutoff in Egypt but for those few lucky hoarders of electronic goods or people who never upgraded because broadband and wireless is just a fad the internet is still accessible for some.
“The Egyptian government appears to have ordered service providers to shut down all international connections to the Internet,” Renesys, a U.S. Internet monitoring firm reported, on its blog. “…every Egyptian provider, every business, bank, Internet cafe, website, school, embassy, and government office that relied on the big four Egyptian ISPs for their Internet connectivity is now cut off from the rest of the world.”
However it seems that people inside of Egypt are using dialup connections in outside countries and they are also using satellite telephones that work directly with a satellite and need no local routing…
So you guys remember that…
I tell you i still have a dialup modem around for just in case the end of the world comes reasons.
